Key duties & responsibilities:
• Clean floors by sweeping and mopping.
• Dust, damp wipe, wash, or polish furniture, ledges, and windowsills.
• Maintain records of sundries and replenish consumable items like soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels if needed.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, and dispose of bio-waste twice a week.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and report low stock levels to the supervisor.
• Keep storage areas tidy and organized.
• Provide support to study participants by offering chairs, snacks, and drinks as requested.
• Report any required repairs to the supervisor.
• Handle cleaning solutions appropriately, including mixing and disposal.
• Apply insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
• Assist in loading and unloading supplies and equipment when necessary.
• Make weekly requests/refills for sanitary supplies and drinking water.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Supervisor.

Required Education and Knowledge:
• At least an ‘O’ Level Certificate
• Physical and mental fitness
• Have good interpersonal skills.
• Time Management
• Follow Safety and Health standards.

Personal Attributes & Physical Ability:
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• High level of responsibility in handling project property
• Communicate efficiently.
• Willingness to put in extra time and effort when required is essential.
• Willingness to be trained in the Standard Operating procedures of jurisdiction.
• Must have a recommendation letter from a MUWRP staff or acceptable responsible person.
• Must be residing in Buvuma or be ready to re-locate in Buvuma.
